One of the greatest a capella gospel quartets, on their first single for Peacock. Shortly after this, they added accompaniment (guitar, organ, bass, drums), according to the contemporary fashion. They were still great, but there is something very special about the recordings which featured just their unaccompanied voices, or as here with just a little percussion - their own stamping feet.

I think about my Grandfather every time I hear this... I remember him having the old 78’ of this group. Those real heavy records from back in the day. (40’s-50’s) He played this and several others.

That's one of Paul's greatest masterpieces, he did that just before he joined the swan silvertones, and you know what him and pop did.
